Spiderman: across the Spider-verse to hit screens on June 2

Spiderman: Across the Spide-verse is set to hit the screens in less than a month and fans of the Spiderman sequel must be excited.

Written by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and David Callaham, Spiderman: Across the Spider-verse is set to hit the screens on June 2, 2023. The story is based on Marvel Comics and stars Shameik Moore as Miles Morales, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy or Spiderwoman and Jake Johnson as Peter B. Parker. The film also stars Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Karan Soni, Jason Schwartzman and Brian Tyree Henry.

Plot: After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. But when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

The movie is produced by Columbia Pictures, Sony Pictures Animation, Marvel Entertainment, Arad Productions, Lord Miller Productions and Pascal Pictures. Distribution is by Sony Pictures. It will be released on June 2, 2023.

Also being released on the same day are Concerned Citizen, The Boogeyman, Simulant, Creed III, No Hard Feelings and Scream IV. Others include Shazam! Fury of the Gods, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts and Extraction 2.
