Ghanaian Computer Scientist and musician Dr Paul Azunre, also known as Dr Pushkin has scheduled the release of another track as he continues to stay high up in 2024. The hard-punching poetic rapper’s next release will be his sixth project in 2024 after he announced the planned release of his duology; “No Heroes” and “No Miracles”. He titled his latest work “Still Here” to signify his long trek and the persistence that has brought him here.

Known for his guts to address issues many of his peers sweep under the carpet, Dr Pushkin has never shied away from speaking truth to power through his craft. In all the 4 songs he did in 2024 including the remix of “Winning” from his Outlandish album, the Austin-based rapper tackled key social issues that currently plague the world.

Apart from his consistency with the message he preaches in his songs, Dr Pushkin has also kept his promise to collaborate with some of the industry’s key names this year. So far, his efforts have led him to collaborations with one of Ghana’s rap assassins, Lyrical Joe. He did “No Heroes” with the “Betrayal” hitmaker before teaming up with Ko-Jo Cue and Ataman Nikita to drop “No Go Go”.

As they always say, home sweet home, but when Dr Pushkin teamed up with Bolgatanga-based B-Wayne, it is a story of struggles and persecution. In “Empty Graves”, the duo tackled the social pretence and the attitude of those who are always eager to shoot you down.

He then decided to take a review and remind the world that even with No Heroes, they will still Just Watch those they want to put down walk out leaving the Empty Grave to keep winning. Thus, he did a remix of Winning and recruited Wlydthang to join him and Budukusu, who was on the original track to release in May.

His latest project, Still Here, features another of Ghana’s heavyweight rappers and the reigning Telecel Ghana Music Awards Best Rap Performance rapper, Strongman Burner. The track also features Ataman Nikita who has been on multiple projects with Dr Pushkin.

Still Here is scheduled to hit all streaming platforms on June 12, 2024. Fans can pre-saved here to get Still Here early when it goes live. The track was produced by Lloyd Osei Baffour popularly known as Peeweezel Cue.
