Nigerian singer Ayra Starr, born Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe has recounted her worst experience with Nigerian Immigration officials. The singer expressed her anger at the officials via her Twitter handle.
According to tweet which has since gained many reaction, the singer went to the passport office in Nigeria but before they could attend to her they asked her to remove her lashes.
She has vowed not to forgive them for the treatment meted out to her at their office.
“This passport office people really made me just remove my lashes. I’ll never forgive y’all,” she tweeted with the tears emoji in the message.
A user tweeted a reply, “So if it was semi-permanent lashes…that is how they will ask you to remove it”. And the singer shocked with her response, “It wassss”.
Anothet tweep replied, “Do you mean to say they’re animals in human form?” and the “Rush” singer replied, “Yessss”.
Ayra Starr did not take the entire episode lightly as she tweeted hours later, “I can’t lie the haters won today Mehn but that’s why I love tomorrow”.
The Contonu-born Marvin Records signee will probably be thinking twice about eye lashes when next she is facing officials of the Nigerian Immigration Service. But for now, it is 1-0 as per her later statement that the haters won today but she loves tomorrow.
