“Forgive them father they don’t know what they dey do.” That is a line of track number 5 of the yet to be released Outlandish album by Ghana’s emerging rap gem Dr Pushkin. The poetic and conscious rapper dropped a preview of the visuals of the song which he featured US-based rapper Aggie.
Though Outlandish is a week until it is made public, the rapper cum engineer is gaining huge traction for the work. That is probably due to his previous works including Need You and Lies, two of his biggest songs released last year which are featured on the album.
In the video which is shot to depict a prison with multiple inmates in the famous American orange coloured prison jumpsuits, the Ghanaian and his American counterpart delivered lines from their collaboration.
The euphoria is building and it is just a matter of days before Ghanaians the world have a taste of what Outlandish is made of. The album promises big with features from Ofori Amponsah, Muphasah, TeriWiizi, Qauta Budukusu, Nikita Ataman, Kwadwo Spiri and host of others.
Also featured in the album are poems from Bolgatanga-based spoken word artist Zumah The Poet and a voicemail from Jeremy.
