Dr Pushkin takes Outlandish to Bolgatanga with North2South

Sensational-conscious rapper Dr Pushkin is having a big year in music following the release of his Outlandish album. In what will be his third-ever music event he is headlining in the country, Dr Pushkin is taking the Outlandish experience to his hometown of Bolgatanga.

Dubbed the North 2 South Experience, Dr Pushkin is heading a team of strong performers including some of the Upper East Region’s top artists. Performing alongside the Bolgatanga native rhymer is Ataman Nikita, with whom he has several songs.

When and Where?

Scheduled for mid-September, the North 2 South Experience concert will take place on a two-day span; Friday, September 15 and Saturday, September 16. It is billed to take place at the Jocom Hotel. The two-day event is unlike other music concerts not just aimed at entertaining but also exposing music talents in the Upper East Region to the business side of music. Also, it will help musicians in the region with the platform to learn from top industry players from across the country.

Day two of the event will be the night of entertainment as the ‘You Make Me Wonder’ hitmaker takes to the stage in his home region for the first time in a massive music fest. A night of thrills, the event will witness some of the best acts from across the Upper East Region take to the stage to show what they are made of and why they belong to the top.

Who else is performing?

Enabled by Isolirium Entertainment, North 2 South Experience will host Dr Pushkin himself and Ataman Nikita. Accompanying the duo is the reigning Upper East Music Awards Artiste of the Year, Pandy Bobby. But that is not all as ‘Kiima Kina’ mic burner and Bolgatanga’s rap enigma, Soorebia will be unloading hits from his ‘Bag of Rocks’ album.

Also performing on the night are Nambawan who will be sure to ensure that no ‘Booze Man’ leaves the venue with ’20K Issues’, Cypid who will definitely not need to say to anyone, ‘Believe In Me’ as he would have done enough to make all the patrons do so voluntarily and B-Wayne who will have more than just ‘Girls and Boys’ to wow but an audience to enchant.

Also performing are Fasetwo, Gingsen, Sarauta and Alaptawan. Jerry Kanjaga will also be available to turn the ‘Party’ on and he will definitely ‘Check Self’ by turning on the love vibes with ‘Ohemaa’ as well as joining Dr Pushkin to perform the love-themed hit ‘You Make Me Wonder’ from the Outlandish album.

Finally, spoken word artist, Zumah The Poet will mesmerize the audience with euphonious word art. The BWT Dance team is also fully ready to lead the audience in exhibiting the best dance moves suitable for the occasion.
