With Christmas just a few weeks away, musicians have started releasing songs for their fans to take into the yuletide. Taking the lead to introduce his fans to something special this festive season is Carlblingx who has released a new single titled “Kwa Kwa Kwa”.
The “Chairman” hitmaker from Navrongo in the Upper East Region teamed up with one of the region’s finest Gingsen to drop this one. Gingsen, the Bolgatanga-based rapper added some free-flow rap verses to the hustle-inspired song which has long been expected.
According to the Navrongo native, the song is “basically about being on your grind or your hustle as a young man chale things hard but we are trying our best regardless”.
The De Fly-produced song has Carlblingx and Gingsen talking about hustling as young people. The difficulties and how most start everything from zero with no inheritance. The “Who Am I” crooner spoke about survival in the streets while acknowledging it is the grace of God that keeps the roads clear.
The Jojo Bu Empire boss has from time to time dropped hit songs that became instant sensations, especially among young people in the Upper East Region. Some of his notable songs such as “Chairman”, “Statement” and “Douna Da W3” have received positive reviews while also remaining top hits in the region.
Carlblingx who raps and sings in both his native Kasem and English has received recognition for his good music. In the most recent Upper East Music Awards, he was nominated in four categories with “Do You” one of his all-time top charting songs doing the trick.
A brief about Carlblingx
Born in Navrongo, Carlblingx is a rap and hip hop artiste from the Upper East Region. He has done several projects including “Navrongo We Dey” in 2021, “Random Thoughts” in 2020 and “Jogo Bu” in 2019. He has collaborated with a number of artists such as Lyrical Joe, Cypid and Willie Young while also working with producers such as Azkonnah and De Fly.
