Ghanaian rapper Dr Pushkin will drop the visuals for his top-rating hiplife song ‘You Make Me Wonder’, featuring Mr. All 4 Real. Following the release of the lyrics video for the song, the poetic rapper’s official video will hit the screens on Friday, June 9, 2023. The song which also features Jerry Kanjaga was one of the tracks on Dr Pushkin’s maiden studio album that caught waves soon after its release.
In a video teaser to announce the date for the release of the official video for the song, the conscious rapper said the Yaw Skyface-directed video is “an instant classic”. The video definitely has something special in it which can be seen from the seven seconds intro. An aerial shot of a city suburb zooms in to show a beautiful lady in a pink long dress walking in the cosy environment of a luxurious building, setting up a romantic scenery to introduce the full video.
This will be the fourth video to be released by the rapper after the release of the album. Visuals of “Forgive Them”, another song off the album which was premiered on the same day the album was released. Meanwhile, the video for “Lies” featuring Ghanaian singer TeriWiizi which was a precursor to the album was released late in 2022. Both videos have performed extremely well with over half a million combined views since their release.
The third video is the one for “Need You” featuring Ataman Nikita and Budukusu which is also doing considerably well since its release about three months ago. ‘Winning’ which featured the originator of tongue-twisting rap in Ghana Budukusu has also gathered huge numbers since its release earlier this year.
Also, the lyrics video for ‘You Make Me Wonder” has also achieved huge success on YouTube since its release three months ago.
