Ghanaian actress  Priscilla Opoku Agyeman, known professionally as Ahoufe Patri has expressed her regrets for not giving her late mother a grandchild. She said if only she knew that her mother Barbara Opoku Addo would have left so early she would have given her a grandchild.

She told Graphic Showbiz that her late mother’s untimely death meant she did not see her grandchildren. The “Boys Kasa” actress said she would have given her one if she knew it was coming this early.

“Maybe, I should have also given birth early just like my mum did considering that I was the only child and now she is gone,” she said. She then added, “If I knew she was not going to live for long, I would have done that”.

According to Ahoufe Patri who buried the later mother earlier last month, her mother gave birth very early. Due to that people doubted if they were a mother and daughter.

“My mum gave birth to me at an early so it was quite difficult for people to know she was my mother. I related to my mother like a big sis and we did everything together.  I shared with her my problems and she also told me everything I needed to know.

Also, she revealed that the bond between them was so deep and her mother also had a pure heart. “We shared a strong bond and the love that existed between us was so deep. I know my mum Barbara Opoku is resting well because she was a good woman with a pure heart”.
