Scientist cum rapper Paul Azunre known as also as Dr Pushkin has dropped a new song to celebrate Valentine, a few days after dropping “No Heroes” with Lyrical Joe. After promising to release two albums in 2024, the 2023 SXSW alumni is leaving no stone unturned. The “Need You” rapper will drop “No Go Go” on Wednesday to celebrate Valentine’s but will it be a celebratory or reality check song?

Taking to social media to announce the news of the new track ahead of its release date, he hinted that “No Go Go” is an anti-Valentine song, basically a step out of the norm as his music has always been. The social-critical rapper said it is “a love letter to all who refuse to accept the status quo”.

This time around, the conscious rapper and “You Make Me Wonder” crooner teamed up with his brother Ataman Nikita and Kojo Cue. The song according to Dr Puskkin is produced by one of Ghana’s top young producers, Azkonnabeatz.

“This Wednesday – Feb 14th, Kojo Cue, Ataman and me are dropping our love letter to all those who refuse to accept the status quo and continue to fight for a better world,” Dr Pushkin announced.

According to him, the song is mixed by Peewezel Clue while Esi Hooper offered backup vocals. It is already Valentine’s Day and the song will be here but what do we expect? Disruptive, non-conformitive and thought-provoking? That is a perfect theme we could expect but if you ever doubt and think this will come easy on your thoughts, maybe you should check out “No Heroes” and come back later. You can also check the pre-save for No Go Go.
