John Dumelo lose his septuagenarian mother

Actor John Dumelo has lost his mother, Mrs. Antoinette Ama Ampomah Dumelo who turned 71 years earlier this year. The ace actor took to social media to share the news of the passing of his septuagenarian mother.

“My heart is broken. My dear mother passed away peacefully yesterday….my number one supporter. Heaven has gained an angel,” the actor cum politician posted on Facebook.

The latest incident comes as a setback for the enterprising farmer and politician who got a breakthrough in his bid to contest the 2024 elections a few days ago. John Dumelo was officially endorsed by the NDC as the parliamentary candidate for the party in the next elections.

That was preceded by the decision of Dumelo’s biggest threat to the position, Fred Nuamah who is a long-time friend of the actor withdrawing from the race while pledging his support to Dumelo. The decision cleared the way for Dumelo to focus his campaign on the masses in the constituency as the days to the next presidential and parliamentary elections wear off.
