Scheduled for March 13 to 18 in Texas, the SXSW Music Fest is one of the world’s biggest music events and is by far the greatest launchpad for young artists ready to take the world and make it their own.

Dr Pushkin will share the stage with music greats including UK’s rock band legendary group the New Order, United States’ legendary award winning rapper and activist Killer Mike, Anwan Glover and Tangerine Dream.

Reacting to the news on his Facebook wall, the Bolgatanga native said “Damn… I am yet to process all this. To be announced same day as a major influence and role model – @killermike – feels unreal”.

The Ghanaian will be at the event with a team made of Ghanaian rapper Budukusu, Aggie from Texas, and AZA with DJ SelectaRah to man the turntables.
