Superstar singer Wiyaala storms Accra with the Yaga Yagas

Ghanaian musician Wiyaala is storming Accra this January for the first time in five years. The highly talented and energetic dancer and singer will thrill the audience at two venues in Accra in January. Her first point of call with the Yaga Yagas will be at Alliance Francaise on January 26 at 8 PM. A day later, she will entertain another set of music lovers at the Plus 233 Jazz Bar at 9 PM on January 27.

According to the “Rock My Body” singer, she will excite the audience also with the craft of several other talented musicians and performers from Northern Ghana.

“I’ll also be bringing some interesting and talented musicians from Northern Ghana. There will be master xylophonist Isaac Birituro, Kologo player Stevo Atimbre and I’m introducing an exciting new young band from Wa, who go by the name of the Chin-Chigas,” Wiyaala stated.

Notable among the list of supporting cast is Bolgatanga-based two-string guitar player Stevo Atambire. The veteran Gurune musician will perform with the World Citizen Band. Also included in the list are the Chin-Chigas, Isaac Birituo, Samson B and Pobee Mwintombo, a spoken word artist.
