The judge sitting on the case involving the Adisadel College student who bullied a junior in a video that went viral on social media adjourned the case to September 27. As the accused is a final-year student preparing for the upcoming West African Senior Schools Certificate Examinations, the case was adjourned to allow him to sit the exams.

Family members of the two boys were in attendance at the Cape Coast District Court to witness the sitting. However, the presiding judge, His Lordship Eric Oheneba Antwi Boasiako, heard the case in his chamber due to the sensitive nature of the case.

In the viral video, the accused was seen holding tight to the neck of the other while hitting his[victim] head against the frame of the metal bed. Other students were around while one did the recording. The action of the student has widely been condemned.

Also, the housemaster of Quaque House, where the incident took place is still under interdiction as the school carries out an internal investigation into the issue.

Meanwhile, the accused pleaded not guilty to the charges against him. The case has been adjourned to September 27.
