Pedro Henrique, a Brazilian gospel musician dies on stage

Brazilian gospel musician Pedro Henrique, 30, met his early death while performing on stage at a private event. The singer in the video shared online was entertaining his audience when the incident happened. There is no official statement of the cause of death but tributes have been pouring in for the late singer.

Todah Music, the label he was signed on till his death released a statement on Instagram along with a black and white picture of the 30-year-old.

“There are very difficult situations in life, for which we have no explanation. We just need to understand that the will of God prevails,” the tribute written in Portuguese read in part.

Pedro Henrique, per the statement by Todah Music, left behind a wife and a two-month-old daughter, Zoe. Though his time on earth has been cut short, the tributes showed he touched many lives in his native Brazil with his talents.

“Peter was a cheerful young man, a friend to all. The only son A present husband and super dedicated father There is no pastor or Christian in Brazil who says anything different: – Peter is simple, he is a believer! What a smile! How nice is that! What a voice! Our kind of people who are great to have around!

“We believe Peter will have a prominent place in the great Heavenly Choir! Maybe singing ‘The Cross was mine’… or reminding us that God will honour our descendants! The songs in his voice will not die and his legacy will live on through his wife, his daughter Zoe and so many lives that have been and will be reached by Christ through the records of his voice!”

Though he lived in Guarulhos, São Paulo, his funeral will take place at Porto Seguro where he was born.

According to Billboard Brazil, Pedro Henrique was in the city of Feira de Santana, Bahia to participate in a private event organized by influencer Lôise Abreu. Following his death, two of his new singles were released. The song titled “Medley: Levanta / Não Fica Assim / Descendência (Ao Vivo)” was released on Thursday.
