Professor Joshua Alabi who led the team to pick the forms for John Mahama to contest the NDC presidential primaries has said a new Mahama-led government will turn things around in two years.
According to the former Northern and Greater Accra regional minister, “Under the leadership of John Mahama within a matter of two years” Ghanaians will see “signs of growth, we will first stabilize economic growth. At the end of it the NPP will never see power again”.
“We are here to pick up the forms for his HE John Dramani Mahama. As you are aware we are in very difficult times in this country, the economy is in shambles, people are suffering and the summary here is that people are crying for the NDC to come back,” he stated.
Explaining the reasons for ex-President Mahama’s comeback, he said Ghanaians are clamouring for an experienced leader. He said the people want a leader who is people-centred and the NDC has one in Mahama.
“Ghanaians are asking for a well-experienced leader, leadership counts. If leadership counts then experience is the key, one who has done it before and one who is very humble, one who loves the people and one who believes in people-centred policies. Fortunately for us in the NDC, as a country, we have somebody like that,” he revealed.
