Edward Ekow Obeng Kenzo is an NDC member and financier – Madina Treasurer slams NDC supporters

Sufaya Kassim Larry, the Madina Constituency Treasurer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) has vehemently condemned the agitations of party members who are allegedly against the supposed appointment of Ing. Edward Ekow Obeng Kenzo to head the Volta River Authority, VRA. This comes after sources within the corridors of the government hinted that the Deputy Chief Executive (Engineering & Operations) of VRA will be appointed to lead the power generator.

The accusations which claim Kenzo is a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have been described as “utterly ridiculous, reprehensible, and out of place”. Sufaya Kassim Larry emphasized that Kenzo’s appointment is a well-deserved recognition of his tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to the cause of the National Democratic Congress.

“His numerous contributions to the party’s growth and development are undeniable, and it’s appalling that some individuals within our party are spreading false rumors to tarnish his reputation,” Larry stated.

According to her, this vicious smear campaign is seen as a slap in the face of the party’s values and ideals. The NDC loyalist called on all well-meaning members to rise up and condemn this despicable attempt to undermine Kenzo’s hard-earned credibility.

She explained that, Ing. Kenzo, is a renowned engineer and a staunch sympathizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress, who has built a reputation for his exceptional leadership skills and dedication to public service. His rise through the ranks at the Volta River Authority (VRA) is as a result of his hard work and commitment to excellence.

It is utterly ridiculous, reprehensible, and out of place for our people to be referring to Edward Ekow Obeng Kenzo, a staunch card-bearing member and financier of our party, as a member of the NPP today because of selfish personal interests. This baseless, irresponsible, and malicious accusation is a slap in the face of our party’s values and ideals.

Edward Ekow Obeng Kenzo’s appointment is meritorious, apt, and his commitment to our party’s cause is unrelenting. His contributions to our party’s growth and development are undeniable, and we should be celebrating his dedication and appointment, rather than spreading false rumors about a committed card bearing member and a financier.

We must condemn in the strongest terms this despicable attempt to tarnish Edward Ekow Obeng Kenzo’s reputation and undermine his hard-earned credibility. This kind of politics of destruction and character assassination has no place in our party, and we will not stand for it. We must call on all well-meaning members of our party to rise up and condemn this vicious smear campaign against Kenzo. We must stand united and defend our party’s values and ideals against these selfish and destructive forces.

Let us focus on promoting our party’s values and ideals, rather than tearing each other down with baseless accusations and selfish interests. Thank you President Mahama for rewarding loyalty!!
