Sharaf Mahama, son of former President John Mahama has passed his examinations and received his license as a FIFA agent.
He shared a post on social media to announce the good news saying he wants to contribute to football development in the country.
“I’m thrilled to announce that, I have passed the FIFA Agent Examinations and now licensed as an official FIFA Agent. This is in pursuit of my passion to contribute to the development of Football in Ghana and the world at large.”
Sharaf Mahama has never hidden his love for sports. He played football in Belgian lower leagues and mostly for the youth teams having had stints with some U-21 teams in the European country.
The 26-year-old further demonstrated his interest in sports by supporting boxing in the country. His most recent activity in boxing was in December 2023 when the Sharaf Mahama Foundation collaborated to bring a fight between Freezy Macbones and Nigeria’s Salami Oladimeji in Accra.
The announcement has since received a warm welcome from Ghanaians on social media, taking to microblogging platform X, to congratulate him for his efforts.
