Mahama has no policy, I’ve 33 – Mahamudu Bawumia brags

The New Patriotic Party Presidential candidate Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has bragged that though he has not been President before he can boast of 33 policies. He said John Mahama, Vice President and President for 8 years, has nothing to offer.

Dr Mahamudu Bawumia who is on a tour of the Volta Region made the comment during his campaign stop at Ketu North on Wednesday, October 23. He said he is a man noted for new ideas and innovation but the same cannot be said of John Mahama who he said has failed to name even one policy of his that benefited Ghanaians.

“I asked him [Mahama] the other day, tell us one policy that you’ve brought to Ghana as president or vice president that has positively impacted Ghanaians. He still cannot tell us, if you ask me Dr Bawumia even though I haven’t been president, I can give you 33 different policies in this government…So you know with Dr Bawumia there will be new ideas.”

Also, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia assured the youth that he will create enough jobs if elected President. During a campaign stop at Kpando, the Vice President repeated his 1 million digital skills promises, assuring the youth that they can work remotely with the digital skills.

“All the youth, we need jobs. I am going to give one million youths digital skills in Ghana. Everybody, even if you are a school dropout, we can give you digital skills. You will stay in Kpando and work in America, in Germany, in Japan, in the UK, and in the US. Work right from here with your digital skills,” he assured.
