Abednego Tetteh left it late to punish defending champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko as he secured a point for Bibiani Gold Stars. The striker scored in the second minute of injury time to equalize for Gold Stars as they earned a point away from home.

Kotoko started off on a brighter note in front of their home fans as Solomon Safo Talyor found the back of the net with just eight minutes played.

Having lost one and drawn the other of their last two matches, the Porcupine Warriors went into the break maintaining their one-goal advantage.

Despite failing to add to their numbers, Kotoko managed to keep Gold Stars at bay for the entire duration of regulation time. However, in the second minute of second-half added time, the former Al-Hilal Omdurman and Hearts of Oaj hitman arrived on time to slot home a leveller for his side.

Kotoko will now seek to return to winning ways when they travel away from home to take on relegated Kotoku Royals in a week 31 fixture. Gold Stars, meanwhile, will hope to build on their late heroics and claim maximum points at home against Tamale City on Sunday.
